Churches Planting Churches Seminar
Nov. 30 – Dec. 1
Dear Pastors and Congregational Leaders,
Church consultants tell us the best way to reach the unchurched is by planting new churches. Of course, it’s not the only way. However, it is a very good and faithful way for existing congregations to reach the lost and be ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t let the lack of money, the lack of time, or the rationale that “this is not the right time for us” stop you from working the possibilities.
I’m asking you, will your congregation consider “planting” a new congregation? Will you gather a committee of people who will come, and if nothing else, begin praying over the possibility? Our Vision Team has raised up or garnered from others at least 33 locations where new church plants appear to NEED to be cultivated immediately. We are working on a list of at least 100 locations in Kansas where the sacramental presence of Christ doesn’t have a home among humanity. Now is the time!
Congregations of all sizes will benefit from this refreshing and hope-filled seminar that approaches churches planting churches from a biblical and practical point of view. You’re going to enjoy this opportunity to explore, study, and pray with other congregations who are simply giving this some thought and discussion.
Please understand that your participation in this seminar does NOT mean that you are committing to planting a new congregation. We simply want you to come and learn and then take that information back to your congregation and begin praying together over the possibilities. Even if you don’t see a church plant in your immediate region, you may be able to assist with a church plant or mission plant somewhere else in Kansas.
Pastors, again a friendly reminder, bring at least three people from your church with you. The seminar involves Team interaction. You will find it more fulfilling to invest this Small Group Team Work with your own people, talking about your own community.
