The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host its 2019 National Rural & Small Town Mission Conference on Nov. 14-16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South near the Mall of America.
The speakers and sessions will build on the theme “Running With Endurance: Eyes Fixed On Jesus” and will address the blessings and challenges facing rural and small-town congregations.
Scheduled plenary speakers:
- Rev. Todd Kollbaum, director, LCMS Rural & Small Town Mission
- Rev. Dr. Harold L. Senkbeil, executive director of Spiritual Care, DOXOLOGY
The Rev. Robert Zagore, executive director, LCMS Office of National Mission, will lead the Bible study on the conference theme.
Participants may choose from breakout sessions on topics such as dealing with addiction, mental health, young adults in ministry, bi-vocational pastors, stewardship, community engagement, disaster response and many other topics affecting our rural and small-town congregations.
